После установки программы Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tools на компьютер, программу потребуется запустить с ярлыка программы на «Рабочем столе» или из меню «Пуск». Перед запуском программы, необходимо вставить флешку в USB разъем своего компьютера.

Флешка будет отформатирована в программе Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tools. Перед началом форматирования, чтобы не потерять находящиеся на USB накопителе файлы, их нужно будет перенести в другое место, иначе они будут потеряны после завершения процесса форматирования.

На этом примере у меня выбран диск с образом операционной системы Windows 7 SP1 Максимальная 32 битная, который находится на внешнем жестком диске «K:». После выбора образа операционной системы, необходимо нажать на кнопку «Next».

Во втором шаге вам необходимо выбрать внешний USB накопитель. Программа может перенести установочные файлы операционной системы и на DVD диск. В этом случае, при выборе оптического привода DVD, программа запишет образ операционной системы на DVD диск.

После выбора USB накопителя, следует нажать на кнопку «USB device».

В третьем шаге программа обнаруживает подключенный внешний накопитель USB. Если подключено несколько внешних накопителей, то тогда выберите из них тот, на который вы будете записывать образ операционной системы. После этого нужно будет нажать на кнопку «Begin copying».

Теперь начинается четвертый шаг работы программы. Программа Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tools производит форматирование накопителя USB, а затем записывает образ операционной системы Windows 7.

Время записи образа операционной системы зависит от размера ISO файла, скорости флешки и мощности вашего компьютера.

Появляется окно программы Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tools с сообщением о завершении процесса записи образа операционной системы. Загрузочная флешка с образом операционной системы Windows создана.

В данном случае, запись образа операционной системы Windows 7 SP1 Максимальная 32 битная, заняла у меня 12 минут с включенным антивирусом.

Теперь нужно выйти из программы, а затем открыть USB накопитель. После открытия флешки, вы увидите записанные файлы операционной системы Windows 7 на своем съемном диске.

You can create a bootable USB drive with Windows XP by following these instructions.

Using Easy USB Creator 2.0

Easy USB Creator can quickly convert the ISO images into bootable USB drives, with just a single click:

To burn Windows XP to a USB drive using Easy USB Creator 2.0, simply follow these steps:

1. Download USB Creator 2.0
2. Install Easy USB Creator 2.0
3. Browse the Windows XP ISO Image to load at the ISO File field
4. Select the destination of your USB Drive at the Destination Drive field
5. Start

Easy USB Creator 2.0 supports both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0.

• The original CD of Windows XP Professional, not a Windows XP Home CD.

  A Windows XP Home CD will not work.

To create the bootable drive with Windows XP, follow these steps:

1. 1. Boot into the system
   2. Download the PE Builder software from http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/
   3. Install the PE Builder to . The final path should be to make the next steps easier.

Inside the PEBuilder folder, create a new folder named . This folder’s path should be .

• Rename the archive downloaded from Microsoft to
• Open Command Prompt. You can also open it by typing in the Run dialog box and pressing Enter afterwards.
• Type the command to go to the folder where the MS-WS-SP1.exe file exists:

  cd c:\downloads

  Don’t type MS-WS-SP1.exe in the path above. You only need to go to the folder where the file exists.

  Replace with the letter of the drive and the directory where the MS-WP-SP1.exe file exists.

• Type to begin the extraction process, press Enter

• Choose to extract the files to the same folder, e.g. :

• In Command Prompt, you now need to go to the extract folder at the i386 sub-folder.To do so, type the same command, if you’re still at the c:\downloads folder in Command Prompt and you haven’t created a new folder for the extracted files:

  cd i386

  If you created a new folder for the extract files, say Extract, in c:\downloads, update the cd command to go to that folder:

  cd c:\downloads\Extract

  Then, type , press Enter

• Once inside the i386 folder via Command Prompt, type:

  copy setupldr.bin c:\PEBuilder\SRSP1

  Replace with the path where the PE Builder software is installed, if this was changed in previous steps.

• While still in Command Prompt, expand the ramdisk.sys file with this command:

  expand -r ramdisk.sy_ c:\PEBuilder\SRSP1

  Replace with the path where the PE Builder software is installed, if this was changed in previous steps.

• Go to My Computer
• Go to PEBuilder folder
• Go to SRSP1 folder

• Check that you have the 2 files listed there: setupldr.bin and ramdisk.sys

• Insert the Windows XP Professional CD in the disk tray
• Launch PE Builder

• Make the following changes before you click Build:

  • At the Source field, type the letter of the drive for the Windows XP CD, e.g. e:\
  • At the Output field, type BartPE
  • Leave the Custom field blank
  • Media output should be None
• Click Build
• When the build process is complete, click Close
• Go to Command Prompt and then go to the PEBuilder folder by typing the command:

  cd c:\PEBuilder

• Type this command (make sure the USB flash drive is not removed) and press Enter:

  pe2usb -f d:

  Replace with the letter of the drive where your USB flash drive is loaded.

• Type , when prompted to begin the process. Press Enter after typing YES.
• Press any key to exit the pe2usb process, after the process is complete
• Safely remove the USB flash drive from the port
• Remove the Windows XP CD from the disk try
• Reboot the system to check if the USB flash drive is now bootable with Windows XP Professional

Prerequisites

Before you start creating a bootable USB flash drive to install Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10), you need to make sure that:

• The USB drive is empty and properly formatted
• The USB drive is bootable
• Your BIOS/UEFI is properly configured to boot from the USB flash drive first
• You have the ISO image of Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 or 8.1. If you have the original Windows installation disc, you can use that instead of the ISO image.
• Software needed to write the ISO image to the USB drive or alternatives, such as Easy USB Creator 2.0 by NeoSmart or the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool by Microsoft.

BIOS/UEFI configuration

To make sure that your BIOS/UEFI is configured to boot from a USB drive, follow our Boot from USB drive guide. You need to make sure that:

If a Boot Device menu doesn’t appear on your screen where the USB drive is plugged-in, check the BIOS/UEFI settings. A Boot Device menu can look like this, depending on your computer model and Windows version:

If you are using a new computer with UEFI/EFI, make sure that the Boot Legacy option is enabled:

If you’re using a computer with Fast Boot option, make sure that Fast Boot is disabled.

If your BIOS menu doesn’t list a USB item in the BIOS settings, it may mean that it can’t boot from a USB drive. You can try with the USB drive plugged-in and then boot into BIOS directly.

If the item doesn’t appear, you need to use the original Windows installation CD or DVD to install Windows or access the repair tools.

If you need to use the repair tools of an original Windows installation CD/DVD, you can also use Easy Recovery Essentials and run Automated Repair to automatically find and fix boot errors.

ISO image

If you don’t have the ISO image to create the bootable USB drive, you can download an official image from Microsoft’s website.

SARDU MultiBoot Creator is a useful application designed to help you create an emergency rescue CD or USB drive. These drives can be used to check and to repair your system in case of a failure. Most computer users have dealt with a situation when the computer simply cannot start the operating system. Although every one of us hopes to avoid this type of event, it is better to be prepared by having a recovery disk at hand.

This program intends to help you create a recovery disk with the tools required to diagnose and to repair the issues that prevent your computer from starting properly. The disk can be customized by creating multiple boot options and by adding the utilities that you need for your system configuration.

You might need to include an antivirus, a partition manager and a network diagnosis tool. The program allows you to fetch the bootable images from the internet and to include them on your disk. The recovery tool can be customized by adding any bootable image from an ISO file.

The boot menu can be personalized with folders, files and other items that are useful for the diagnostics. Unfortunately, you cannot preview the menu which means that you have to keep track of the inserted items. The recovery disk can be saved as an ISO file for burning it to a DVD or by creating a bootable disk from a removable USB device. Create a Windows 8 / 8.1 bootable USB

Depending if you have the ISO image of Windows Vista or the original DVD, you can use Easy USB Creator 2.0 to create the USB if you have the ISO image or the diskpart utility to create the bootable USB, if you have the DVD.

2. At the Source File field, click Browse and find the Windows 8 or 8.1 ISO image on your computer

3. Click Next
4. Insert the USB flash drive in an available port on your computer. Make sure it’s loaded in My Computer.

5. At Step 2, select USB Device to write the ISO image to the USB drive. You can click DVD to write the ISO image to a DVD instead.

6. At Step 3, select the USB flash drive from the drop down menu. If the drive isn’t loaded yet, you can click on the Refresh icon next to the drop down menu.
7. Click Begin copying

8. When done, exit the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool

If you have the installation disc (DVD)

If you have the original installation disc (DVD) of Microsoft Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 you can create a bootable USB drive.

To do so, follow the steps below:

1. Boot into Windows 8 or 8.1
2. Open Command Prompt as Administrator. To do so, press the Windows and C key to search for . From the search results list, right-click on Command Prompt
3. Click Run as administrator
4. Enter the password, when prompted
5. When Command Prompt opens, type this command and press Enter:

   diskpart

6. Insert the USB flash drive in the port

7. Type , press Enter

8. Identify the number next of the USB drive in the list provided by the list disk command

9. Type , press Enter. Replace with the number of the USB drive listed from above steps.

   The confirmation message should be:

   Disk 1 is now the selected disk.

10. Type , press Enter
11. Type , press Enter
12. Type , press Enter
13. Type , press Enter
14. Type , press Enter. To have the USB drive formatted more quickly, add the quick parameter:
15. Type , press Enter
16. Type , press Enter
17. Copy the contents of the Windows 8 DVD or 8.1 DVD to the USB flash drive

Создаём загрузочную флешку

1. Вставляем флешку в компьютер

2. Копируем все важные файлы с Вашей флешки на компьютер, так как перед созданиемзагрузочной флешки Windows 2000/XP/2003 нам придётся её отформатировать.

3. Запуск программы HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool

4. В поле 1 выбираем флешку, с которой мы планируем устанавливать Windows 2000/XP/20035. В поле 2 выбираем файловую систему NTFS6. Нажимаем кнопку Start (3)7. Ждём сообщение об успешном завершении форматирования

8. Нажимаем кнопку ОК

9. Нам необходимо распаковать образ Windows 2000/XP/2003. Для этого нажмите на скачанном образе Windows правой кнопкой мыши, и в контекстном меню выберите WinRAR –> Извлечь в..  ждём пока распакуется образ

10. Открываем программу Win Setup From USB

11. В поле 1 выбираем флешку, с которой мы планируем устанавливать Windows 2000/XP/2003

12. Ставим галочку возле поля Windows 2000/XP/2003 Setup (2)

13. Нажимаем кнопку выбора папки с дистрибутивом (3)

14. В открывшемся окне выбираем папку с распакованным образом и нажимаем кнопку ОК

15. Нажимаем кнопку GO

16. В процессе копирования файлов выскочит окошко, в котором надо нажать Agree

17. Ждём появления сообщения Job done и жмём кнопку ОК

Поздравляю, теперь вы можете установить Windows 2000/XP/2003 с флешки!

Хочу заметить, что процесс установки будет немного отличаться от установки с компакт диска.

Порядок установки Windows 2000/XP/2003 с флешки

При загрузке с флешки загрузится оболочка GRUB4DOS со следующими вариантами загрузки:

Выбираем второй вариант загрузки Windows XP/2000/2003 Setup

появляется второе диалоговое окно загрузчика

В этом диалоге выбираем второй пункт: First part of Windows XP ProfessionalSP3 setup from partition 0

Далее все делаем как обычно. Не забываем переписать CD key на странице с лицензионным соглашением. После перезагрузки компьютера опять загружаемся с флешки. Попадаем в уже знакомое нам меню.

Start PLop boot managerWindows XP/2000/2003 Setup

Как и в прошлый раз выбираем второй пункт Windows XP/2000/2003 Setup.

И снова попадаем в диалоговое окно

но уже выбираем третий пункт меню Second part of Windows XP/2000/2003 setup / Boot first internal hard disk и продолжаем установку как обычно.

Update 31.10.2013:  Для тех, у кого возникает баг – отсутствие меню выбора загрузки на флешке:

С чем связан этот баг – пока не известно. На данный момент найдено 2 решения.

Лекарство 1:  Попробуйте взять дугую флешку, если не помогает – повторите инструкцию на другом компьютере.

Лекарство 2: Скачайте этот архив www.возьмивсе.рф/boot_menu_xp.rar Распакуйте файлы архива в корень флешки и меню появится.

↓ 06 – UNetbootin

UNetbootin allows you to create bootable Live USB drives for Ubuntu and other Linux distributions without burning a CD. However, it can be used to create other bootable OS. UNetbootin doesn’t use distribution-specific rules for making your live USB drive, so most Linux ISO files should load correctly using this option.

However, not all distributions support booting from USB, and some others require extra boot options or other modifications before they can boot from USB drives, so these ISO files will not work as-is. Also, ISO files for non-Linux operating systems have a different boot mechanism, so don’t expect them to work either.

RMPrepUSB is a user-friendly Windows graphical front-end which calls it’s brother application RMPartUSB (which does all the hard work!). RMPartUSB is a Windows command line utility and does not have a GUI and can be used in batch/script files (type RMPartUSB to see help/usage text in a Windows command console). RMPartUSB makes a partition of any size and is primarily intended for USB Flash Drive (UFD) memory sticks, although it can be used on USB hard drives or USB card readers to create a bootable partition or even non-USB drives.

RMPartUSB also places boot code on the USB device for either XP/WinPEv1 (ntldr), Vista/WinPEv2/Win7 (bootmgr), MS-DOS (io.sys) or FreeDos (kernel.sys). RMPartUSB does not place any files on the UFD – you must copy these over yourself or set the Copy OS Files option in RMPrepUSB to copy over the contents of a folder of your choice.
